Group of Trees in the New Forest

20" x 16" oil on mounting board

A group of trees in the New Forest (Hampshire) are pictured in this calming summer scene. It would have been a hot day but the thicket of densely populated trees give some relief from the sun and offers shade instead. The painting is done in oils on acid free mounting board, which is 20” x 16” in size, and was painted during June 2019.
