New Forest Trees With Shadows

This painting was started during late march 2017 and not finished, due to a number of other projects, until early May. At one point I had considered the painting done but then after 2 weeks or so, made some adjustments to how it is now. It shows a number of fir trees casting long shadows during a late summers day in August. The location is the New Forest, Hampshire in southern England.
The image is painted at 16” x 12” on stretched watercolour paper.
